A patrol rifle should be capable of consistently shooting a 4" group at 100 yards.

Bill Drill

Shoot the Bill Drill from varying distances.  6 rounds from the holster at the 7-yard line as quickly as possible is standard, but change it up and incorporate moving.

Mini Casino Drill

 The Casino Drill was originally created by Tom Givens of Rangemaster Firearms Training Services but required a larger target.  We added a twist to it and made it a printable target on 8.5x11 paper.


Start in sequential order, shooting the number on the shape.  There will be magazine changes and add your own twist to the drill.

Focal Shift Drill #1

Originally designed by  Kawa Mawlayee, this drill helps focus the shooter on remaining engaged with their sight picture on follow-up shots.  Shooters often follow their initial shot up by checking the target to see where their shot landed.  This drill will help you stay on target between shots, reacquiring each new target, and maintaining your sight picture throughout. 


You can set up this drill however you like, incorporating magazine changes.  It is shot typically from either the 3 or 5 yard line, with 2 magazines of 15 rounds,
